Intersection A Cappella
Based at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, since 2004

Intersection A Cappella is the Tenor-Bass a cappella group at the University of Iowa. Started in 2004, the group has seen tremendous growth in its fanbase at the University and across the Midwest with past performances, including opening for the SingOff in Des Moines and recognitions spanning across news outlets in Iowa and Illinois. Intersection sings pop culture favorites, as well as throwbacks to earlier eras with many of the songs arranged in-house. Currently, the group consists of 13 undergraduate  and graduate students. What's Next?

Intersection is Back! We are on campus and looking forward to kicking off the spring semester! We are also considering adding more members, if you or someone you know is interested, please contact us! We will be holding auditions next august! Keep checking our repertoire list for music updates in the late fall/winter season. We are so excited to be back in business and have really missed making music for our amazing fans! Finally, we have a new Tik Tok account so feel free to stop by and checkout out new content. We are always looking for more opportunities to sing and share our music in the Iowa City area, as well as throughout Iowa. More Information

The group performs around the Iowa City area, on campus at the University of Iowa, and across the Midwest for paid performances and festivals. Common venues range from paid private parties to non-profit events for other student organizations. The group enjoys performing for all audiences and is available for booking upon request.
